Specialist Group Goalkeeper Training | 90 Minutes

Take your goalkeeping to the next level with specialist goalkeeper coaching led by Rui Sousa, who brings playing and coaching experience from Portugal and Madeira, including AD Machico and CD Marítimo, alongside experience working with local clubs and players in Jersey.

These 90-minute group sessions are designed to provide young goalkeepers with high-quality, specialist training in a positive and challenging environment. Players will develop their technical ability, decision-making and confidence while also benefiting from realistic goalkeeper-specific practices and learning alongside other players.

Handling and catching technique
Footwork and movement
Positioning and angles
Diving and shot stopping
1v1 situations
Distribution with hands and feet
Playing out from the back
Decision making and communication

Match-specific goalkeeper scenarios

Rui's coaching approach is focused on individual development within a group environment, ensuring players receive feedback and guidance while being challenged through realistic, game-based practices.

Joga Bonito Coaching – Session Booking Terms

All sessions are booked subject to coach availability and operational circumstances. In the event of unforeseen situations outside of our control (including coach illness, scheduling conflicts, facility issues, or availability changes), sessions may be rescheduled where possible or refunded at the organiser’s discretion. Block bookings secure scheduled training time rather than a specific individual coach. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed via bank transfer within 7 working days. By confirming a booking, participants acknowledge and accept these terms.
